the President’s Desk
February 2010.For several years, I have served on the Board of Directors for a statewide non-profit organization. While I believe fervently in the mission of this organization, I have considered resigning several times since I joined the Board.
February 2010. Ten years ago, I feared that addressing conflict would make things worse. Then I had an experience that led me to a different conclusion. In the middle of a performance review, one of my employees blurted, "I know what people say about me."
For the last 18 months, this space has been dedicated to book reviews. As I shift the focus of my coaching and consulting work to the health care sector, I have decided to use this space for regular updates of leadership, communication, and quality issues.
